Livestock Information & Rules

We are still planning our 76th Salinas Valley Fair. As information and recommendations concerning COVID-19 are updated frequently by the Monterey County Health Department and the California Department of Public Health we will continue to monitor them so that we may make the best decision for our fair family and local community.

Out of respect for those that have experienced unexpected financial hardships; we are only requiring the following actions for persons interested in our fair competitions:
It is our mission to hold an annual agricultural fair and we continue to plan for this event. Should we be fortunate to hold our annual fair and livestock show, we will make admission passes, wristbands and grooming chutes available for purchase prior to the fair.

2020 Leader Form

This form will be utilized to contact Advisors, CCLs and Project Leaders concerning the Salinas Valley Fair Junior Livestock Show, Auction and General Fair information. This includes a list of all registered 4-H and FFA members in your projects. If you do not want to be included in these messages please be sure to select do not contact me.

Payment for Leader Passes, Assistant Leader Passes and Parking passes will be billed prior to fair for pick-up between May 9 - May 13.

Forms submitted before April 1, 2020 will provide staff the information necessary to share project information with leaders before the entry deadline.
