CEO Welcome

Hello Salinas Valley Fair Friends and Family,

We are so excited to kick off the 81st Salinas Valley Fair! The Fair Board of Directors and Staff have been prepping and revamping for another amazing Fair, May 15-18.

This year's Fair theme is "The Berry Best Fair" - filled with all your favorite things from 4H & FFA livestock animals, to fresh baked cookies, photos, and so much more. Swing into our exhibition buidlings or barns and see what our talented local youth have been up to. We have many new activities planned this year in addition to all our traditional exhibits.

Starting off opening day of Fair with "Kids Holaday," where we welcome kids 12 and under for FREE! Friday, RC Farms is supporting all seniors 60 and over to attend Fair at NO CHARGE. King City Rotary Club will be hosting Special Kids Day where special eduation tour groups get in free. A&G Pumping will be sponsoring Armed Forces day Saturday, allowing free admission to al active military members and their families. Dia Del Hispano, sponsored by Bassetti Farms, will have Sunday filled with live music in the Stampede Arena and on the Steinbeck Stage. Don't forget Chase Bryant and Jordan Fletcher are joining us on Saturday, May 17th - get your tickets here NOW!

Grab a corndog and ice cream cone before visiting the new chicken vendor serving chicken and waffles - all near the barns! And... before you leave, don't forget to enjoy some traditional fair food favorites - dippin' dots, cotton candy, funnel cakes, or a giant cinnamon roll!

Thank you to all our sponsors, volunteers, and friends of the community for the continued support of the Salinas Valley Fair. We are truly grateful for all of our supporters and amazing staff members. We look forward to seein you at this year's Salinas Valley Fair!

It is your support that makes our fair such a huge success each year. We are a community who comes out
and supports each other.

I am excited to invite you to come and enjoy the “The Berry Best Fair”. Stroll in through the 4-H & FFA Building where the exhibitors’ hard work will be showcased alongside some of our valleys top notch vegetables. Move over to the Expo Building where you can do a bit of shopping. Moving down to the Photography & Home Arts Building to see beautiful photos taken by our own local talent along with quilts, jams, and pies made by
your neighbors. Stroll through Floral Lane for a mixture of beauty, talent, art and the breathtaking scents of the “cream of the crop” floral exhibits.
